Now as I told you the other day, the George St-Pierre Workout routine was coming…so here it is…

As I said growing up  George St-Pierre was a skinny dude (an Ectomorph) and it took him a lot of work to look the way he does today.

GSP George St Pierre Workout Routine Secrets

Well guess what? You can get the George St-Pierre look too by adopting some of his principles into your workout routine and diet plan.

If your skinny like George St-Pierre was, a lot of people are going to tell you to eat a ton, drink protein shakes and do THE BIG 3…

The “Big 3″ Exercises:

  1. Benchpress
  2. Squats
  3. Deadlifts

These are great exercises but they are not part of the George St-Pierre workout and won’t get you a body like him.

Here is the problem with focusing your efforts on those 3 lifts

Squats and Deadlifts add a lot of muscle in all the wrong places (your hips, butt and thighs). Bench presses add muscle to your lower pecs causing them to look rounded and droopy. Who wants man boobs?

Check out this video that explain it a little better…

Now if you didn’t watch the video, it talks about how the big 3 gives you curves in all the wrong places.

So what if you gain 20 pounds?

If 90% of that muscle is on your hips, thighs and butt…you are actually going backwards as far as looks go and you will not achieve a George St-Pierrephysique.

So if you want to achieve the George St-Pierre body, you need to workout smart.

Another important strategy to achieving the look of George St-Pierre is to get lean enough to the point were you have no loose skin so you have muscle and ab definition.

Here is a video that explains how to get lean enough to have George St-Pierre abs…

So as you can see…all the “traditional” muscle building advice that you get in the magazines is full of B.S. and will not get you closer to the Hollywood look of chiseled abs and nice guns.

  • The “Big 3″ creates a rounded lower body look, instead of being lean & angular.
  • Bulking up causes loose skin when leaning out —loose skin means you can’t see your sixpack
  • You can’t look pimp like George St-Pierre  with too much bulk in the wrong places.

Seriously, just because you put on more muscle —does not mean you will look better. The next time you are in the gym, look around.

You see the dudes in there for hours by the Bench press…yeah they are huge Meat heads and have all the respect in the gym but when they leave they will never get the ladies like George St-Pierre does.

Women don’t like the Oversized Testosterone Injected Bodybuilder look…turns them off.

Those dudes have muscles bulging out of their muscles, plus they look funny when they have to where bell bottom pants cause their jeans don’t fit around their waste and thighs.

Here’s a video which explain why the slim and muscular look is the way to go to get girls and how to do the George St-Pierre workout…

So like I started from the beginning you need to have a workout plan if you want a body like George St-Pierre. Doing random workouts and the wrong diet can put you on a path of looking funny and just plain wasting your time!

Here’s the George St-Pierre workout routine to get the George St-Pierre Look:

  • Lift using a strategic rep range to achieve the lean “Shrink Wrap Effect” so you can see your abs.
  • Lift to increase muscle density to achieve and angular hard looking physique and not bloated and puffy.
  • Add muscle in the correct place.
  • Get Ultra lean as quick as possible without losing muscle mass.

The only Workout that focuses on achieving the look of George St-Pierre…?

That course is called – Visual Impact Muscle Building

George St Pierre diet 300x199 George St Pierre Diet PlanBecause you are reading this article, you obviously know that GSP is seriously ripped and probably has the best abs and probably body in the MMA.  In order to get his ripped physique he doesn’t only train like a mad man, he also follows a special diet.

The George St-Pierre Diet Plan before his fights are super strict and have the following guidelines:

“I tend to eat as well as I can, but I use the diet to lose weight,” Georges St-Pierre says. “I weigh 185 pounds, and I have to be 170 on the scale [for the weigh-in], so in four days I’m going to lose 15 pounds. I’m gonna cut down the carbs, the sodium, and I’ll be eating a lot of greens and a lot of protein. By doing so, I’m going to restrict myself and make the weight. And after the weigh-in, I’m going to do the opposite by eating a lot of carbs and get all my weight back.”

This may seem very basic but it is a simple logical start for most people, personally I always like to follow more of a laid out plan and I had really good luck with was Eat Stop Eat by Brad Pilon, this program uses a method called intermittent fasting, which means you fast for 24 hours every 48 hours. This is a very easy to follow diet and it makes it easy to still go out and eat with your friends without changing your eating habits.

If you prefer a more traditional way of dieting and not fasting Jon Benson has created what he calls the Every Other Day Diet. His diet alternates high calorie days with low calorie days to mimic the way ancient cave man used to eat to be efficient hunters and gatherers. Lets face it Cavemen were in very good shape.

Another GSP diet secret is bananas!  Read on and see what I’m talking about…

  • Before the fight, GSP doesn’t  eat any more carbohydrates.
  • All he eats is meat and vegetables; vegetables are carbs, but our bodies don’t have the enzymes to break them down so they just pass through the system without being absorbed. So now you have no glycogen in your muscles and you’re also losing three parts of water. So that’s going to make you a lot lighter because, obviously, water is very heavy.
  • The week [before the fight GSP is] losing maybe a quarter of a pound of fat, but the rest will all be water.
  • After the weigh-in he’s going to absorb the water back and he’s going to eat carbohydrates right after.

Georges St-Pierre often eats a banana before or after a fight as well. “The reason he eats a banana is because when you go on low-carb diets, you lose a lot of potassium,” Firas Zahabi explains.

“When you eat carbohydrates, you get a high level of potassium, so when you’re not eating carbohydrates, you have no more potassium, and when you don’t have potassium you get acidity in your muscles.

So we give him bananas — bananas are high in potassium and sugar and, once he reaches his weight, we start giving him back high-potassium foods.”

All these are great tips to get in better shape and start getting a body like George St-Pierre.  If you don’t want to just lose water weight but actually want to get more cut like GSP, I recommend you watch this Free video presentation
